Basic Operation
- Input a Bulk Composition of the system.
- Input T (°C) and P (bars) and optionally log fO2.
- Choose a calculation mode:
- Single Click on the Find Liquidus button and wait for an answer, or,
- Single Click on the Equilibrate button and wait for an answer.
- If an error message appears or if the Server Request in Progress message does not pop down after 60 seconds, consult the Error Messages Help Panel.
- Change T, P, log fO2, bulk composition and repeat Find Liquidus/Equilibrate, or, Single Click on the Constraints buton and specify a reaction path within the constraints popup and then Single Click on the Equilibrate button and wait for an answer.
Display Options
- Single Click a phase name in the stable phase list for a wt% composition display.
- Double Click a phase name in the stable phase list for a phase properties popup display.
- Single Click a phase name in the potential phase list to exclude that phase from consideration.
- Single Click a phase name in the excluded phase list to include that phase for consideration.
- Single Click on the Display Graph button to display a graph of results.
- Single Click on the Reset button to reinitialize the server. See Error Messages help page.
- Single Click on the Load button to read in a previously saved state.
- Single Click on the Save button to save the current state to disk .
- Single Click on the Print button to print the current state.
